Fabrica de Memorii Electronice si Componente pentru Tehnica de Calcul (FMECTC)
FMECTC was an elite unit of the Romanian computer industry. Her roots were in MECIPT at the Polytechnic, then in the microproduction section at ITC Timisoara. FMECTC exported massively in the years 1970-1980 high value-added products. After 1990, it became Datatim, then Alcatel Romania, then Nokia Romania.
