Remington Rand Co.

Remington Rand was an early American business machines manufacturer, best known originally as a typewriter manufacturer and in a later incarnation as the manufacturer of the UNIVAC line of mainframe computers.
Remington Rand was formed in 1927 by the merger of the Remington Typewriter Co. and Rand Kardex Corp.
Acquired by Sperry to form Sperry Rand in 1955.
